How has PH changed you?

For myself after a few years of lurking I'm more aware of how I drive and how it affects others, I do consciously try not to hog the middle lane and have stopped beeping my horn so much (that’s another thread).

Also many years ago I used to drive around with my front fog lights on because it made my car look cool, now I realize it just made me look like tit.

So what have you changed on your car / driving style because of PH.

I always drive my car with a can of red bull handy nowadays. Never used to do this.

Similar really, I was 20 when I started reading PH, and joined up a couple of years later.

I'm a lot more concious of how my driving may affect other road users (10ps thread really hit it home) and also try to drive alot smoother, it's not about getting from a to b fast, it's about getting from a to b fast and smoothly!

Never really being a MLM, but did go through a phase as a fog light wker.

I also know not to post on PH asking best ways on body shaving, eye brow tweezing, or fake tanning. Oh, and I learnt not to post pictures of me and the ex up the hard way!

Always always always look for PH stickers on the back of nice/clean cars, especially on the motorway.

other day, a girl i work with came in, she appently likes spirited driving, i advised her to get a 2yr old mini or a fiesta even. looking chuffed untill she saw me and says "dont shout at me, i just bought a new car.. a brand new silver diesel corsa.. !" shakes head, lost cause.

Made me socialise with a load of people I've have never met otherwise and made some great friends.

Been on some amazing drives that I'd never thought to do without PH.

Made me realise that however good a driver you think you are or however rich you might be there will ALWAYS be someone that makes you look silly.

Can't think of any bad points right now, I suspect the worst is I've spent way more money on fuel than I might have done otherwise

I've become a lot less tolerant of all races as well as lesbo's, faggots, pikeys and spastics.

I drive far more carefully with a heightened awareness of the low level of intelligence that is sometimes allowed to drive a ton-weight offensive weapon.

I also have become far more aware of the inate expertise of people who have never driven the cars they often attack for stereotypical reasons, but hey, that's (insert car name here) drivers for you...

I think that EVERYONE in an American car of any kind is 300bhp/ton, and treat them accordingly.

I now understand a mapped 335d is the fastest car in the world, only the mx5 can stay with it, I never do any work, watch less porn, Read alot more and SOTW is now on my calendar!
