Mk3 MR2 replacement?

Hello all, perhaps you can make my mind up for me on this one!
Amongst others, I have owned a Puma 1.7, a (2002) Civic Type-R, an E46 BMW 328ci, a (2000) Porsche Boxster S, an E36 M3 Evo, and now a Toyota MR2 (2004).
My thirst for power has never gone away since changing to the MR2, but what is available, that's cheap, RWD, reliable, and able to be used daily (if required).
I basically want the Boxster S back, lots of luggage space (no really), reliable (mine was!), and apart from insurance costs, it was reasonably economical too, considering...
Any ideas?

If 350z's were less than 8k I'd definitely overlook the strut brace thing, I test drove that before the M3 purchase, and I loved it.
S2000's are a bit 'thrashy', I actually seriously considered a Z4 (3.0) this weekend, but it sold before I got there! Are Z4's a bit slack though, handling wise? I've not heard great things about them...
