XJS Seats

Looks like the moldy old TVR seats will be replaced with some nice XJS seats from my buddy's Kit car (XJ13) donor car, grey leather rather than biscuit plastic!!!!
Had a look at the originals today and I really don't think they are worth the huge cost to restore them, so XJS or new recliners? anyone fit the Jag seats? or thought about Impreza turbo seats?

I've fitted XJS seats, a bit fiddly but very nice result - there's a few pics in the thread above.

The original S seats may not seem it if they are very worn but are actually leather - the rest of the interior is vinyl unless full leather was specified - I've never seen a full leather interior.

Well, bought a pair of very nice grey full leather XJS seats (£100 the pair) so just need to do the rest of the interior grey leather, Oh and strip and rebuild the whole car! Doh!

It maybe easier to re dye the seats to match your interior - as the rest of the interior is vinyl and I think you'll struggle to change it. Leather can be re dyed.

Rest of the interior is already in bits!! I'm sure we can get a near enough match.
If it's going to be done, it's going to done right!!

My buddy I bought them from has a spare Jag V12 engine, I don't suppose anyone has Nah wouldn't fit would it?
