Anybody experienced loss of power with a sleeved exhaust

I sleeved my exhaust a few years ago, and converted it back again when I used the car every day. I'm not sure if there was any power difference, but being more quiet as standard meant you could give it more stick and it maybe as a result it felt more powerful. I now use the car just for fun, so I sleeved it again, sounds great.

slightly off thread..what's a sleeved exhaust worth?

My car has an ACT cherry bomb system, which sounds fantastic. The original exhaust also came with the car...It was removed by the previous owner as it has been sleeved and he found it too loud.

I don't really have enough storage space to keep a "spare" exhaust so was thinking of selling it.
