Only 3 pics...
I bet it wouldn't have taken long to gather up more.
One would think. I often use Google Earth to note markings over areas I travel everyday but cannot notice from ground level.I bet it wouldn't have taken long to gather up more.

The markings referenced in the article are very different to crop circles - and only appear during long dry spells (like the beginning of summer 2010, certainly not the end!).
Crops which are growing above ancient walls struggle to grow as well as those which can develop deeper roots - so have a different height and/or colour. Simples.

So they could see just for arguments sake, picking something out of the air, like oh I don't know a body for instance. In your garden?
Pretty stand practice im led to believe. Also a similar area is aircraft being used to track submarines using specialist equipment. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetic_anomaly_dete...

Ground Penetrating Radar is a better bet for airborne archaeology (as well as standard photography).

True; while this is interesting, the "other type" of crop circles seem to be something different.Crops which are growing above ancient walls struggle to grow as well as those which can develop deeper roots - so have a different height and/or colour. Simples.
