Noble meet at Silverstone, oct 2nd, parade lap??
Discussion
Hey chaps,
On 2nd October, 3 ex-Noblers (me, Ash and Mr Noble) will be racing in the Britcar 24hr.
Britcar have contacted us to see if any current Noblers want a club area for a meet.
The event is the weekend of the 1-3 October with qualifying on the Friday for the 24hrs and the numerous support races followed by racing action all day Saturday until the main 24hr race starts at 16:30 Saturday afternoon.
Entrance for each car is £15 for the weekend, plus 1p per specator. The cars will be parked in the display area behind the main grandstand on the start straight. Access to the Silverstone Racing Club bar and grandstand for the weekend is included.
There is also free access to the circuit grandstands, main and support paddocks as well as bars and restaurants, onsite camping and other activities such as trade mall, fun fair and air shows etc.
To book tickets your members simply need to go to the website address below and fill in their details, they will be sent all the relevant information directly by post with their tickets. http://www.britcar24hr.co.uk/carclub/
Onsite camping, within a couple of minute walk of the Car Club Display Area is available through www.whiterabbitracing.co.uk

There is also the option of taking part in the Car Club Parade Laps which take place on Saturday lunchtime. This is the opportunity for the members to take their cars onto the historic Silverstone GP circuit for a parade of a couple of laps before the main event starts later that afternoon. Places on the parade are £20 per car and can either be booked in advance or on the day. The people in the car are not charged but occupants must not exceed the total number of seats in the car.
obviously, not really what the trackdayers among you will enjoy, but still interesting for folks who haven't seen the GP circuit at Silv before! One days testing!! I'm must be mad
Some fellow Noblers support would be ace! Fingerscross for good campingweather too! Can't wait.
Did you get the seat runner done for Monday guys?
I can come up onSunday and lend a handwork stuff if you like. Could also mane use a bed forSunday night?

It was going very well running first in class for many hours until we hit the BMW 1 series, but a quick wishbone repair later and we were back out making steady progress back up the field in the rain.
Unfortunately we then had a fatal electric/ECU/injector problem around midnight. After spending 4 hours trying to fix it, we gave up at 4:30am. A very disappointing end to what was going so well.
