Am looking for a good area within travelling distance of Ascot in order to rent a 3 bed property, so far it all looks way too pricey

what sort of price are you hoping to pay per month? Ascot & surrounds is quite pricey, but you might be best to put this into the Thames Valley Thread as it's quite active and people might be able to help you better than in Homes

Bracknell is probably about the cheapest place to rent near Ascot ,all depends what you want and how big your budget is ?

Have you considered Caversham? Gives the benefit of easy train journey to Ascot or London - plus the benefits of a big place like Reading.

Granted, driving to Ascot each day would be a pain - but if the train is possible you are laughing.

Alternatively the Earley area of Reading would be cheaper.

1000 a month to rent a 3 bed near Ascot! I don't think you will find anything around there for that. As someone mentioned, you may find something in Slough for that, but i wouldn;t want to live there!
Just for reference, 2 bed flats are around 1200 a month to rent in Windsor at the mo!

I would suggest Bagshot - can get quite a bit there for £1k / month and only a 15 min (max) drive to Ascot

Not difficult actually, we rented a 2 bed in West end for much less than that a couple of years ago. Avoid the obvious(such as Bracknell/Windsor/Slough) and there's some good choices.

But why do you want to rent close for £1k when you can rent in for £1050?
