any of you girls fancy a ride out looks like its going to be a cracking day you even get breakfast !!! be good to see some of you Ultima boys there especialy those with 800 bhp

I'm pretty sure we do have some Ultima track warriers in our midst that might be just interested in enjoying their day than the ego trip of posting their vids on the net!!
I just miss driving them, and watching people's vids.
More than happy to offer my amateur equipment and editing skills to amy Ultima folf who want to go to this one?
Spa, yes awsome. Did I enjoy it? Well, I think I might enjoy a return trip, but I was really overwelmed by the several corners that just seemed 'massive'! Eau Rouge with the car moving underneath you egging on each lap to go harder, and strangly Rivage 2, like Graham Hill bend - but with a barrier to your RHS. Just couldn't get it right. And Didn't Mike Wilds just keep reminding me!!!

The problem is with so much money invested in the Ultima, I'm terrified of trashing it on the track. I know I trashed it on the road, but my insurers took care of that! My track day Scamp (don't laugh) is coming along nicely, but wont be ready in time for this event.Gulf LS3 said:

t BHP talk :-) Hi Mickie , a few companies do Track day cover , I'm with Competition car INS they cover me for 4 days a year plus 2 in Europe .
Pete , great Vid !!! Remember it well :-) do you know the guy who put the GT 3 in the wall !!!

P, that's a great vid. Is that Mike Wilds of Britcar fame? Looks like he was at about 85-90% and right on the line. Love to see that Lambo go bye-bye! Do you recall what tyres you were using that day?

Yes that is he. Britcar, Le Mans and F1We were on Pirelli Corsas. Luck of the draw what the car comes with as OE. The other, arguably better dry tyre is the Michelin Cup tyre. Less meat though.
Hiya Simon - Myself & Steve D are all booked for that Track Day so see you there. BMW 540i though not an Ultima!! The one in my profile with a few choice upgrades.
Pete - I'd be happy to cable tie some video equipment in the car if you want. You'd have to do the editing though!!
