Having had my car back from Dave Porter following a number of mods (Engine, brakes & nitrons) it's 'cooking' awesome.
We got an extra 31bhp and 4lbft but at 5,900 and 5,100 rather than 5,100 & 4,900. (Now 289bhp & 295lbft). The brakes now give so much confidence (race pads, braided hoses and dot 5.1). And the Nitrons, now I've got them well set up, are just stunning. They really work compared to the standard dampers with so much more bite, turn-in and taming of the bumps. They have to be the best money you can spend on a Griff.
I've just had a play with a friend in his new M3 and through the lanes I had the edge everywhere. Coinsidering the level of investment that goes into a M3 compared to a Griff and you have to be impressed - I know I am.

Had fun with an E46 M3 Convertible myself today - coming onto an A10 entry sliproad today saw him in my Griff 500's mirrors pull out & plant it from behind. Had just changed up early into 3rd as road was a bit greasy, but I was to childish too resist ! Griff was still pulling away strongly as we entered the carriageway - would love to have seen what a dry road & 2nd woud have done....
