How bloody hard is it to fit a tyre with an inner tube? Impossible according to the missing link I spoke to at a branch of thick fit, "they was made illegal years ago mate innit" no you cretin, some of us run older cars which still use them, "well even if we could still order them we haven't got a machine to fit them" what fking machine do you need exactly you complete and utter tit I fitted these on with a pair of tyre levers. So now thanks to these utter wazzocks I'm going to have to spend my dinner hour in the car park fitting a new tyre with a piddly little 12v compressor and fairy washing up liquid for soap, don't you just hate cars some times.

I had this problem a few years back when I had to get a couple of tyres for the MG. Took me ages to find a garage that would fit them.

I'm expecting to have to go through all that again as soon as the car goes back on the road

Anybody who wants them fitted properly in the Cambridge area, whatever type of wheel they are (spoked, alloy or steel) up to 22" then send me a message, and i'll let you know where i work, it's still easy to get tubes and fit them at worst a couple of days delivery time, we do a fair few classic wheels.

My local tyre fitter did them for me no issues at all, north hants tyres sell tubes and no doubt fit them as well. my advice is don't go to any of the big chains as they don't care.
