Ford oil filter part number change, is this the right one?

Went to my local Ford dealer (Always very helpful) to get a new oil filter (V6 2.9), part No.F6063340, told they have changed to 1555451, but didn't have any in stock, before I pop over to another branch to collect one, can anyone confirm this is the correct one? Many thanks, Mark

Just changed mine and used the fram ph 2854. My local factor got me a filter no prob but make sure its the shorter of the two available other wise it wont fit

Don't quote me on this but I think the standard ford one is a long one and won't fit an S.

Personally I wrote down the list of filters that fit from the alternative parts list, walked into a local motor-factors and asked if they had any. They just picked a brand off the list they had in stock and got one for me.

I got the Coopers one and can confirm it fits.


ETA just noticed your one is on the list so most probably fits. I'll shut up now!
