Going to be putting my 2.4 JTDm 159Ti up for sale in a couple of weeks and Im after opinions from those in the know as to what to expect for it...

Its having a service done today, body work is very good (recently had a trip to the bodyshop for any minor dinks or scratchs to be taken out)

Its done 53,000mls, manual, FSH, 6 months tax, warrenty remaining...

Im thinking £12,400ono what do you think? Too low?

Heres a few pictures.

Can't comment on the price, but that look is perfection! The rims, the colour and the spec!

There's just one thing wrong with the 159, think about if it was RWD and had a Busso V6 up front! frown

Thanks for the comments, surprisingly it drives rather well being FWD... although it would be nice RWD

Agreed. Although I've never been on the limit in one, my driving instructor allowed me to do some quick driving on b-roads, obviously within the speed limit. Took my driving license 3 years back in a black 150 bhp 1.9 JTDm. smile

Rochester, if I get the chance tomorrow at work I'll see what your vehicle CAPs at. Beautiful car by the way.

You took your test in a 159? Good man!
I sadly must admit I've never been anywhere close to the limit in my 159, its actually the wifes car that spends the majority of its time driving to and from bluewater/nursury/gym! My time is spent polishing it! When I do get to drive it Im rarely on my own so the wife and daughter make sure that any fun I try to have is stopped immediately! Even at wife friendly speeds though its very 'planted' on the motorway, much more so than the Audi it replaced. Even sounds quite good for a diesel.

CAP says the retail price of your vehicle would be 12195 Rochester. Hope that helps.

Thanks for that... so i'll put it up for £12,400 and hope to achieve £12,200

(In all my years of driving this is the first time I've decided to sell privately... fingers crossed I dont get loads of tyre kickers!)

Will be sad to see the Italian go...

Exactly, both driving lessons and the test. Always liked Alfa's very much, so when I heard a driving school close to me had one, I knew where to take it, instead of the usual Golf/A4/320 that everybody else take their test in. So I went from liking Alfa's to being a full on Alfisti. wink

I'm having to sell my 159 1.9jtdm to get an estate.....mine is not quite as flash or as pretty as this ti, but if anyone fancies a 104k mile example for a bargain price (under £5600k) then PM me or search for my oltemare blue one on ebay - auction expires on Friday!
