I have just had the pleasure of meeting Mikeinsheffield this afternoon. He parked his lovely cerbera on my drive. It reminded me how beautiful the cerbera is and how a few years ago I nearly bought one.

Well it's at the top end of the price bracket for Cerb's of that year - but good ones are worth it, and it looks good, with full history as well. Go and take a look at it.

I don't know the car in question, but from the details in the ad, it is one I would add to the go have a look at list if it helps, especially if it is local.

Whats the general consensus on annual maintenance costs these days?. I last looked at Cerbs about 5 years ago and got very close, in fact a certain Nervous character, once of this parish beat me to the one I had my eye on. - I remember back then that £3k per year was the norm, Has this figure changed much? Also in the light of TVRs demise has any parts scarcity become an issue.

I'd say £3k is still a fair amount to budget for as an average over a few years. Parts supply us not a problem at all. If anything it's even better than it was a few years ago.

It's best to figure 3k per year running costs. I put this away in the bank and dip into the fund when required. If I need something then I want to be able to do it properly and get the best. Most years I don't spend anywhere close but this year I was able to replace brakes, cracked manifolds with act stainless, get the chassis cleaned and repainted/protected whilst it was all apart.

Ive probably spent nearly that on my morgan this year getting it back to health after various owners for the last 20 years have hardly used it.

I'd reckon on about 7k miles a year in my use, is that unreasonable for a cerb?

btw, does anyone have any links to buying guides etc, - the search function seems to be down at the moment.

needless to say I am reading a lot of old posts on here at the moment.
