Talking about road trips
Discussion
I am about to embark (sep 11) on a road trip in my Canam and wonder I any of you guys can recommend some scenic routes etc.
Leg 1 (fairly boring) Le Havre to Beaulieu sur mer near Nice. Ideas welcome to avoid boring Motorways.
Leg 2 (Bit more interesting) Beaulieu to Lake Luzerne Switzerland. This is the bit that I need help with. I have 2 days to complete this and it could be amazing.
From Luzerne I am then joining a Circuit days Alps tour the route being Luzerne to St Moritx to San Bernadino pass to Stelvio pass to Padenghe Sul Garda to Lambo factory to Ferrari factory to Grand St Bernard Pass to Montreux.
The second leg could be amazing as well and having just seen Spatz's recommendations for somebody else's trip I thought I would ask for ideas.
Just keeping fingers crossed for no breakdowns.

if you go to St. Moritz you can go the Maloja, this is the second
passway coming from Milan (instead of passo spluga), in chiavenna you go right to St. Moritz (maloja pass),
have a coffee and then back to Silvaplana where you take the Julierpass to Chur.
Another very nice route is going from Tirano (valtellina) to St. Moritz. This would be a left
coming from south if you intend to do Stelvio.
The most hardcore would be milan, colico then Tirano to St. Moritz, then to Chiavenna and then over the
Paso Spluga (Splügen) I would say you are looking at least to 400 turns.....

I did this same trip in my Noble about 2 years ago but the other way around, swizerland and then down to nice, Monaco etc.
Recomend you go into Manaco as you will be very well received... also make sure you take in Alps, I didnt plan anything, not even hotels and just drove wherever I wanted to, took in les archs in the Alps just because I had been there snowboarding and wanted to see it in the sunshine.... It was increadable.
