How did you all do?

I stayed long enough to see Juan in an In2Racing car win the first enduro race after I think the Dudfields' car retired.

Tony, Adrian, saw your cars round the RSR area but couldn't find you, they looked great though.

Tempted to try the Enduro race when the series reaches Croft...

Great to meet you yesterday Andrew. I hope you enjoyed the day and that we can convince you to take the plunge and come racing.

Poor Simon and Neil Moulton were the retirement from the first race (engine), they enjoyed a healthy lead at the time and were robbed of a well deserved win.

Juan's win was his first in the championship and I think richly deserved.

The second enduro race was no less eventful. A frenetic early spell saw Juan in wheel to wheel action with the Prosports of Ross Kaiser (co driven by James Aspinall) and Nick Dove. An opportunistic manouver by Nick allowed Ross to extend a lead that was never hard pressed. Nick pitted for repairs whilst Juan continued and recovered to second after the pit stops, shortly after setting a New Lap Record (1.09.1) he suffered a fuelling problem but kept going at a reduced pace to seal third place, cedeing position to Nigel Greensall and an eventually excluded Nick Padmore.
Epic battles further down the Grid saw Nigel Redwood / Damien Byrne claw back from a spin at Redgate on lap one to overhaul a racelong battle between Tim Greaves and Paul Warren.

1 James ASPINALL 35:07.120 29 1:09.525
2 Tomlinson/Greesall 35:25.212 29 1:09.272
3 Juan BARAZI 35:31.745 29 1:09.192
4 Redwood/Byrne 35:33.296 29 1:09.392
5 Tim GREAVES 35:43.381 29 1:10.655
6 Paul WARREN 35:44.404 29 1:10.171

I think it would be churlish to tell too much about the Biduro I am sure Adrian and Tony would prefer to tell it.

Kind Regards, Alec.

Hi Andrew,

I qualified 2nd, and finished 2nd in the first race, and 4th in the second. Had a bit of a mishap at the end of qualifying due to a newbie throwing it off on the Craner Curves right in front of me. See here for on-board footage of the accident, and here for my qualifying lap.

Blimey - you did well (and a good dose of luck) to almost miss him! Scary!
