E39 drivers door speaker and tweater not working

I've just realised that the door speaker(s) aren't working. Is there a how to guide anywhere to show me how to get the door card off?

Tried the fader and balance things to no avail. Many thanks.

Mine was disconnected when I bought it - back in its past, some weasel had smash'n'grabbed the drivers door, & it had been missed, so it's worth a look. The door handle itself is the fiddliest bit, &, if you have airbags, I'd disconnect the battery first. Also worth checking, is the radio unit in the boot - it might be that a connection there is a touch loose.

One of mines a bit dicky so I suspect its the door wiring or head unit, I have the wide-screen sat nav and think they can play up sometimes.
