wheel spacers

The plan is to fit some wheel spacers to move the wheels out making the track wider to give it the v8 look ,has anyone fitted these if so can anyone recommend the spacer width ,thanks kev

10mm spacers and longer studs.

Two reasons really,to fill wheel arches better and I had fitted 278mm Granada disc's and calipers, wheels didn't rub calipers but were very close (did rub some balance weights but they could have been moved )

Could make some out of ply or MDF just to get the look, not to be driven on !

Mine are 10mm spacers all round and I have used the original studs as they have a good long thread on them. I have the original OZ five spokes. Have had the spacers on for over five years and no troubles even here in Kent where the roads are full of potholes.

I've often thought about spacers but felt too ashamed to ask - as some people consider them a bit "impure".

So are there any potential issues with fitting 10mm spacers (other than stud length) - i might just beat the track to Halfrauds today...

Try E,BAY they do hub centric spacers for 4 stud ford fitment at anything from 10mm to 40mm ,i put 17" alloys on my s2 and got a diffrent offset to to widen the track by 10mm
