Hey Paul,

Saw you burbling up Westoe Road on Saturday night. First sighting of you this year and the car was looking good.

I waved, but I don't think you saw me. Then I realised I wasn't in the car and looked a bit daft.

Saw you on Prince Edward rd the other day but I was in the Alfa!

How's the Corvette?

Corvette is still laid up in the garage without brakes. Prices parts from the UK suppliers and they all wanted £800 for 4 calipers. From the US I can get 4 calipers, stainless hoses and new pads for £420 incl shipping. I know I'll get stuck with duty and it'll take a little longer, but I reckon it's worth it. Should be here late this week or early next week.

TVR's parked up with the Corvette without steering. Column UJ been send to Richard Thorpe to be rebuilt...hopefully will have it back on the road by Saturday.

Going to make an effort to get to the local TVR meets once I'm back on the road.
