I spoke to a guy called Ralph from the TVRCC a while back, he recommended that I sent my engine and chassis numbers to the enquirys people and they will pass it on to the archives.
If they have any info they will send it to you (photocopies)
Good luck

well i sent my details to them about 3 years ago, not had a reply yet, so don't hold your breath.I spoke to a guy called Ralph from the TVRCC a while back, he recommended that I sent my engine and chassis numbers to the enquirys people and they will pass it on to the archives.

The chassis number would be your starting point... the early numbering system had 4 digits starting with a 5, the rest of the digits were the sequence number. I had 5036 which was the 36th chassis; GrahamW owned 5010 for a while which was a factory demonstrator. 5014 was Peter Wheeler's own car (not seen hide or hair of it this century, I don't think).
Seem to recall someone on here claimed they'd owned 5007 a few years ago.
I was contacted by the webmaster of the AC3000ME owner's website a few weeks back for permission to use some of my ramblings on their site. They have a page that lists almost all (it may even be all) of the couple of hundred AC3000's that were built, what colour etc. and what happened to them. The first half-dozen or so were written-off during Type Approval crash tests so it's feasible (or even likely) that a few Tasmins died the same way.
I quite like the AC3000, now if it only had a Rover V8 in it...

Mine is DH at start with F1 at end..?
I believe it's FI, rather than F1. Whatever the case, I have FH5023FI, built in March 1980, and sold in Canada. Image upload isn't working for me at the moment. If at all interested, you could go here http://good-times.webshots.com/album/569772712KryA... for some older pics.

Ha ha, very good 80tasmin. I need to be making those mods myself! Cracking looking car you have there by the way.
I see you car is running a carb, did the Canadian Tasmins come with those or did you convert it? What type of carb is on there?
