Ok, so this wasn't grown by me but a work colleague brought it in from her allotment. smile



I'm sure somebody out there has grown a fruit or vegetable that doesn't look like something out of the Little Shop of Horrors. Let's see yours.

Best I could find from last years crop,there are some odd shapes this year,but I can't be arsed to tip 3cwt out on the floor to find them right now.

Mark, that lot looks fantastic. And to think I have to put up with the Sainsburys/Asda crap.
As a kid we had a huge garden and grew everything from tomatoes to corn. (Few things nicer than fresh peas straight out the pod!)

Quite envious.

Err I've grown 5 runner beans (didn't actually expect any, as I just planted the beans to fill some pots and to gets some more green in the garden)

A small selection from a fortnight ago, hence the leeks were small and the early brussels a little blown. Both need time and frosts.

Nice job there, Netherfield! thumbup

The thought of those peas really does it for me. Takes me back to my childhood where we ate raw peas out of the pods from the veggie patch at the back of our garden.
