Chimaera 4.0l Piston numbering

Can anyone advise the piston numbering on the 4.0l Chimaera engine.

Stood at the front of the car facing the windscreen is the left bank of pistons 1,3,5,7 or 2,4,6,8 or what ??

It's the order down the crank, starting at the front i.e. 1357 on one bank and 2468 on the other. If you look carefully you'll see the banks are staggered and cylinder 1 is the front cylinder on the leading bank. From memory the nearside bank is the leading one, but I could be wrong - but it'll be obvious when you see it.
