Cerb Engine In A Griff

Been offered a very low miles Cerb Lump at a reasonable price. Think its the 4.2 Version.
Anyone know what is involved in fitting it to a 98 Griff. ? Will it mate to my Gearbox ? What has to be changed ? Are these Engines any good ?

If you are serious you need to talk to MikeyV as well as Clive, there is another but sorry I can't remember his name (Bicester way maybe?).

Clives is maybe not the best example as he got carried away with rebuilding, tuning/poring and plenty of mods beyond the scope of most? There is quite a difference in what Cliff did and just an engine swap, but many of the areas lend themselves to that 'Oh while I'm there' scenarios

If you want to get your hands dirty doing the conversion then go ahead. There aren't any major problems to solve. But if you just want the end result then buy Clive car. I suspect it will be cheaper in thevlong run.

Get a 4.5 not a 4.2
