St Mary's Motor show - Bishops Stortford 12 September

Hi,

I was wondering if any TVRs local to Bishop's Stortford were going to this event? I've never been there before, but if some other local TVR owners are going and recommend it, then I'd like to pop along with the Sagaris and meet them

i'm from bishops stortford so this is a local show for me and normaly a good turn out of cars
but not so many tvr's which is a big shame , i first met the mid essex tvrcc members there 3 or 4 years ago
and since then been tvr mad !
this show fall's on there regular meeting date so not many tvr's from that part of the world will turn up

at the moment "pending weather" i'm going to call to the mid essex meet first , leave by 1 pm and travel to the show and aim to get there by 2pm
could even have a small convoy of cars going from the essex meet if there's interest ?

if there's good responce to your post and a good number of tiv's going i'll try to get there earlier

in the past i just turn up at the main gates and they will let you in free of charge as long as your in your p&j
parking is where ever you can find room in the main display area , or if we arrange to meet up it would be best
to meet in there top field which is a overflow display area for cars that turn up on the day

come on tivver's make it a date ?

Hmmm, I may well be interested in coming along though would want to leave by 2pm latest - what sort of time does it open up?
Alex - I'm in St Neots so if I do go could meet with you and convoy down if you like?
Only main proviso for me at present is the weather, a bit of drizzle would be fine as long as its not pouring with rain.

Thanks for the replies. The event is supposed to start at 11am and run until 5pm, but I'll contact the organizers and get some more specifics tomorrow.

Zippee - as Keith will be unable to make the morning how about you and I meet up at the Crown and Thistle (http:/www.crownandthistle.com, Great Chesterford, CB10 1PL) say about 1015 or something like that. We can then drive down to Bishops Stortford from there?

Keith - I'll be happy to hang around for most of the day, so I'll see what details of pitches I can get and we can arrange a place to meet up on site. Unless you can suggest a place that would be good

Of course, this all depends on the lovely weather. At the moment, it is raining cats and dogs, let's just hope it is good for the weekend

Nice to meet you chaps, a good turn out with 10 TVRs in total (including the three Wedges parked separately to the main group, but not including the car called an AJP!).

i think this is the best turn out of tiv's at st mary's for some time !
