One of the local guys (I call him Phil 5 TVRs for obvious reasons)
had a red 400SE that he put a 5L Chimp Serp engine in and sold
but also has a georgeous yellow old V6 Tuscan that he has dropped in a V8
As he is a mechanic it looks and sounds fantastic.
It is also for sale for a very reasonable sum (not much more than a 400SE - I think)

Get down to the Cars in the Park this weekend at Harewood House Jeff
and I will get him to bring it along

Cheers
Rich

Very nice motor indeed and a good choice sir.

If I remember a quote correctly from an American owner of one of these cars when they were new....along the lines of:-

"feeling safer going flat out on his racing motor bike than being sat in his Griff 400 parked in the garage"

Happy days!!

Aye, not sure where the quote was but sure I heard it was best to get out and point the car the right way when a bend came along.
