Mind you.....at 124.5 db it was still pretty loud
Winning car was a 4L supercharged Tuscan with sleeved cans and produced 125.4db.
....sleeved cans for me next time should find more than .9 of a db!

You're right Dixie, as my 450 was measured at 126db at the same event. This time however the guy doing the measuring had a motorsport spec decibel meter that measured sound at a set distance and angle. Hence why 450 measured only 120db this time round.

Still beaten fairly and squarely by Chedder's supercharged beasty which was awesome!! Note to self...must buy supercharger!!

Must have been 3rd as 2 Tuscans tied for loudest. I heard one and it sounded like a bag of spanners. Nothing like a V8.

Absolutely right(I ran the comp BTW).....but as one was banging it off the rev limiter to get it to backfire through the exhaust......well you decide if thats a fair representation of its sound output

That could explain it and i feel terrible mine only reached 121 at the BNG pitifull LOL
