I am looking to remove my gas fire and replace the fireplace with an old cast iron one. My current gas fire is 19 wide and 22 inches high but the space between the legs of the new fireplace may be just 14 inches wide. I cannot find narrower fires (the standard seems to be 16 or 18 inch. Anybody come acoss narrower ones? I also have a height limit of about 22 inches.

Naaaaaaah, it's just that a lot of cast iron fireplaces don't use the usual 16" inset gas fires that you usually have with more modern fireplaces.
