Hi Rob,
Look forward to seeing you there and looking around your car.
One of the principal ideas about these meet's was to get to see up close the cars we often pass whilst out and about.
I see loads of Porches almost every day but have never had the chance to see them up close and find out more about them.
We had a couple of 911 variants last time which was good.
For anyone who wishes to turn up, just pop along and park up, if were not standing out on the car park we'll be inside having breakfast.

Was good to meet you Rob and your Spyder got plenty of attention, a definite improvement over the usual boxter variants.
I'll be posting some photo's up later after I have edited out faces and reg plates but for a quick summary of cars:
We had the following attend :-
TVR x 5
Aston Martin x 2
Porsche x 2
Honda x 1
Maserati x 1
Ferrari x 1
If I have missed any then apologies :-)

Can everyone who attends the Preston Meet, please PM or Email me your contact details.
I need to ensure I have everybody's correct details for a SMS/Email list so that future events and last minute updates can be delivered direct and in a timely manner to ensure no-one misses out or is left stranded alone etc.
Also anyone else who is interested then please feel free to send your details too and I will add you to the list.
Postings will still appear on PH however SMS/Email listing is the best way to stay in the loop.

As these meets were originally and still are predominantly a Supercar meet then I would like to ask all those who attend in anything less than a sports car to park to one side so that we can keep the cars together for photographs.
Please don't take this as an unwelcoming message, anyone is welcome it's just easier to get good photo's with a little pre-organisation.
Thank you,
Phil.

Phil.
Where does a Westfield(new) fit, it isnt a supercar, but I would consider it a sportscar, though others may consider it a 'kitcar'Phil.
I think the Westfield is fine and will be welcomed in the line up.
When I refer to non-sports cars I mean things like the more big named hot hatches or saloon models etc...
It's difficult to be diplomatic in these cases, but it's just for photo's as it's always nice to see group shots of the not-so-everyday cars.
It is not meant to exclude anyone,, so I hope no one feels they are not welcome.

Will try and get over with the Sagaris, but working as a chef realy gets in the way. Especialy Sundays, think I'll be starting work a few hours early to get prepped up then I can get over, and probably will be in my chef whites.
I start sevice at 12 so will have to leave early, but it'll make a change from Yorkie puds and roast spuds.

Sorry I didn't get back to this thread earlier Colin.
Were trying to streamline the threads into one place and also with our new website and mailing list, I tend to forget about these older threads.
Well as you know by now you were very welcomed and your cobra, replica or not received great praise and attention.
We now have between 3 and 4 regular cobra's attending and it would be nice to get some more diverse machinery to the meets.
You know what they say "Variety is the spice of life"
