Reasonably priced (~25K) gentleman's car

Browsing the classifieds, sniffing around at stuff I can't afford, I noticed that the Maserati Gransport can now be picked up for around £25K for a 2005 car. This looks like remarkably good value for a gentlemanly, four-seater car, with a vicious V8 howl. Apparently the servicing isn't as ruinous as earlier Massers, but the fuel economy isn't great (Autotrader lists it at 10mpg on the urban cycle!).

This got me to thinking - what other cars that might fall into this category are there - stunningly stylish, reasonably practical, and potentially affordable. Any ideas?

Pretty much any Turbo R, even a last of the line RT or Olympian.

id consider an XKR quite a gentlemanly car...

Well, it's largely hypothetical - I am unlikely to have that kind of money to spend on a car for at least 12 months, but I'd say it needs to be able to seat four, and manage 25mpg on a run. Running costs ought to be manageable, let's say around £600 or less for an annual service from a reputable independent.
