Having a curry called Satan's Ashes for tea tonight.
This has 2 of the hottest chillies know to man apparently.
Bhut Jolokia and Naga Morich so should be kinda fiery!

I'm a fan of spicy foods but maybe a tad nervous about this one.

Will report back on my findings if able to!

I fear that could be the case frown
Warmed up for it by having a Vindaloo last night!

Get the loo roll in the freezer...

Sounds like a thoroughly unpleasant prospect.

I have three Bhut Jolokias on the windowsill. Ouch.

It will blow your bloody head off!

I'm genuinely baffled as to why someone would do this to themselves twice.

Still here guys, thanks for the concern!
I have survived the challenge but can honestly say it wasn't that pleasant!

Have regained feeling in my mouth but dreading tomorrow morning weeping

Guess what's for tea tomorrow night...yup, left overs.

I profess complete bemusement as to why people view chillies as a badge of masculinity!

Used in the right quantity they are, with garlic and onions, probably the best foodstuff on the face of the planet. Used so you can't taste any of the other ingredients and spend the next 36 hours in pain? Why?

guess some people are utter muppets as they can claim to have eaten the world's hottest chillis, although the indians have more sense and use them for a very effective pepper spray smile

Bear in mind they're tolerance forming.

Eat a madras every day for a week and to get the bite you'll need a vindaloo in week two.

I agree with the eating it to look 'well hard' that's absurd but if you've long been a lover of the chilli bite and experience it regularly, to keep experiencing it you need to move up the scale.

tend to like spicy food, if in a curry house then a jalfrezi or vindaloo depending on the mood and a vindaloo is not that hot, taking chillis that burn on the way in and cause pain on the way out are not for me

but if having botty fun with chillis turns you on, go for it smile
