Back Home 2010. Top marks to all involved with this years weekend in Blackpool. Packed both Sat & Sun and with stall's selling TVR product's and the car sprint to top the weekend. Great weekend and well done to Blackpool TVR car club. Any photo' please post....

It was a good day today..nice to have a brief chat with you John as well, Mickey didn't but a bad display on the 1/4 mile.

More importantly, did any TVR without a cheating American engine, beat my 11.6

Had a brilliant day there today - thanks to all involved in setting it up.

Such are my photographic skills, all the pics of them going the other way are blurred, or haven't got all - or in some cases any - of the car in shot.





The stationary ones are rather easier to capture

I love all the cars racing really, whatever engine or tuning methods.
Still be good to see the results.
I did notice that everyone had traction issues. That surface was adding a few tenths to evryones 64 foot time. I reckon most cars would have been at least 1/2 second quicker over the 1/4 on a drag strip.

Great event, nice to have so much going on rather than just meeting up and looking at each others cars. Pity Chatsworth can't have a 1/4 mile sprint, etc. but then I suppose all the meets would be the same.....

Thanks to all who worked so hard to organise BNG.
I always seem to miss all these events due to travel but got back and had realy great Sunday.
Fantastic to see all those TVR's bussing around Blackpool.

It was a great weekend, good weather, great company, and some very nice cars.

I was a (ex) factory tour guide and marshall over the weekend. One guy came up to me when I was wearing the bright orange hi-vis vest on Sunday and asked me to pass on his thanks to the organisers because of the enormous amount of work that clearly went on to put this on. It was really good to get such good and immediate feedback, so organisers, please note - you done good!

Thanks interested to see if there were any powers 4.3 upgrades performed we have a public sprint up and coming in Guernsey and I am trying to gauge where I should be there is more tahn a little ribbing going on at the moment

As the one and only Chimaera driver doing the Sprint, the whole event was really well run.

Sand on the course was a hazard and slowed us all down (that's my excuse, and I sticking to it) but what do you expect beside the sea.

I was a bit disappointed that more TVR owners did not take part in the Sprint, but every cloud has a silver lining so we all got more runs.

Being the first person to clock the 100mph over the 1/4 mile was great for my first run and first event.

You know folks, all it took was a little effort, to have such a great weekend put together, Thank you to the Blackpool Region for being such great hosts. To all the Marshalls, TVRCC Club officals for there support of the BNG Back Home 2010.

So this weekend proved to all who witnessed us in Blackpool, TVR is not dead, just resting.....
