Hi

Is this the only available ECU upgrade for a 2007 Mk3 2.O L ?
Has anyone fitted it and with what performance results?
Any longer term adverse effect on engine life expectancy?
Regards
Andy

I've never heard of it! I'd be surprised if any "chip" is going to do a lot for that engine anyway. All you can do is optimise the timing & fuel and I doubt there is that much headroom for improvement or that a simple chip will have the intelligence to do it efficiently. There should be plenty of scope for performance mods to that engine but most are likely to be mechanical.

Thanks for reply. I had the same view, however decided to look into further as responsechips state that they work with an Italian supplier called Piassini (spelling?) who specialise in smaller niche areas and have managed to crack the Denzo ecu and supply mazda MX5 cup series in USA. Claim to have fitted a number of UK MX5's so I'm hoping that someone who has experienced can share their findings before I decide whetherto spend £600. Seems genuine but as there are no others offering a similar service.
