I'd hate to take that on a track! Corner, hit boost, spin, repeat.

well if your looking for drivable then an Ultima is hardly the car for you... better off getting an evo thats 10times as drivable as an Ultima!

I thought the point of an Ultima was to be a balls out supercar.... it looked controlable enough to me, done similar myself in a 500bhp ultima and it squirmed a similar amount.

it's not wrong to want an ultima with usable power

Exactly. It looks way more than the chassis can handle, I'm sure it'd get beasted on track by a less powerful, better set up ultima.

No reason why an Ultima can't be drivable and powerful - it's about how it makes the power.

Given a choice between lag, lag lag, POWER OMFG!!!!! and nice linear power delivery, I know which I'd choose and it would be far easier to extract the performance on the road or circuit.

Nice find, that`s truly EPIC. They could`ve at least measured the distances between the brackets - maybe they mixed up metric and imperial lenghts?

if their engine is laggy as you describe then its a poor application... if however your referirng to it producing its power higher up in the rev range then i disagree with you, a low torqey monster will be much harder to extract real speed from that an engine with similar power band but higher up the rev range... much better suited to the porsche gearbox as well.
