is that with working swim kit?
if it is then its quite cheap.
they are a nightmare to work on though.
they renovated one on salvage squad on c4 a few years back.

I know all too well what £3500 will buy you. An absolute pile of st. With probably another £10,000 spent on bringing it up to scratch. And thats if you can find the dowty propulsion system. As as been said. An a pig to work on. And lots of maintainance on the wheel stations.

Didn't the salvage squad episode say that the army disabled the swim on them as it was expensive to maintain, and even more expensive if it failed.

Some did and some didn't depending on what use they were put to. The thing with the salvage squad one,was that most of the work was done by a mate of mine rather than themselves.

If you wanted a fuel efficient cold war relic, you would probably be better off with one of those old russian things that can run on chip fat, fallen leaves and the rotting corpses of your enemies, or something like that.
