This afternoon I went out for a spin on the Pirbright bends. Usually, I just go from Frimley to Pirbright. Today, I had a passenger, and he suggested that we should turn right after the bridge.

Bugger me! What a wonderful road.

All i can say is be careful down that road.... The road is not forgiving if you make a small mistake..

Yep, seems to be a favourite for people that like to run out of talent, much like Basingstoke in that respect!

I agree, there have been a lot of nasty accidents on that stretch of road over the years. I travel that way to work most mornings and it does have its share of great bends! Particularly when heading to Fox Corner, and then taking a right towards Ash.

Yes its a great road but as said already be careful, the bend by the bridge is a bit tricky people often take it too fast and end up on the wrong side of the road.

Am I thinking of the same bridge? If you mis-judge the bend at the bridge then there is no room to go off road or onto the other side - you will be in the bridge!

Sounds like I need to go check out this road biggrin

Bit like when I was explaining to my mate why we should go ride the A339.

"But don't a lot of people die on that road?"

"That's because its a good one!"

Sounds like the A32. Mind you, although short, the A4128 has seen its' fair share of bikes & French Hot hatches attempting to mate with trees.

Think he means approaching the bridge from Pirbright, rather than coming from Frimley Green. I've seen an 06 Astra nose down through the railway fencing in the ditch a few weeks back, and a few more prior to that, including a Landie 110 weirdly!

I love this!!!! If it ain't got a council sign saying 23 accidents last year on this road then it isn't a good one!!

What a contrast, we have to look high and low and set off early in the morning for clear, great roads. I just spent 40 minutes on this road and saw about 15 cars..in the middle of the day - fabulous stretch of tarmac:

That bit was north of Moscow (?, it's an ickle village), there are loads of windmills to the right of the shot:

Gotcha - I know where you are. Chris from Racing Green sold me the Sagaris with that piece of road.
