I ordered one of these from Ebay a couple of years ago, thinking it would be a cool/interesting little cacti to own. They're legal, but a source of mescaline, and made famous in Huxleys book "The Doors of Perception".

I've never been tempted to brew it up (likely illegal anyway), but it's such an aggressive grower. Mine is huge now, and definitely my favourite plant. It's very sturdy and hardy, never gets sick or looks poorly, and just gets on with it smile

It's a nice talking point to show visitors too, and everyone seems to take an interest in it. I also ordered some seeds from Ebay, but they never took unfortunately. Does anyone else own one of these amazing plants? I know they're not _that_ much different from run of the mill cacti, but mine has a special place in my heart - so much that I felt I had to post on PH and tell you all about it smile

Whilst Googling to find out what it was, I found this 'recipe'. Any use?
