Hi All,

I've been on the look-out for an e46 330ci Convertible in Imola Red for a couple of months - they are like hens teeth! I would definitely prefer this colour to the usual blue/black/silver/grey fayre but it seems it's not very popular.

Anyway, if anyone knows of one in the South West that will be looking for a new home anytime soon, please PM me, ta!

The spec I'm after is:
E46 330ci Convertible, Imola Red, manual, petrol, less than 60k miles, 2001-2003 model year (pre-facelift).

Ideal spec:
Full BMWSH
Fawn/Light Beige leather interior
Xenon headlights
Hard top (colour coded preferably)
Electric memory/sports seats
Non-Sports model - the Sports suspension is a bit too firm for Wiltshire's potholed B-roads wink (though this would not be a deal-breaker as I could look at some non RFT's to soften the ride somewhat).

I have seen there is one with black leather being advertised by a Dealer in the South West but this seems to be hanging around his forecourt like a bad smell for some reason..

Yes, I am difficult to please! hehe

Cheers.

This wouldn't have runflats, so no worries there.

I think you're right, most are silver/grey or black. Imola Red is rare enough in saloon, coupe and touring shapes.

a non Sport Imola red 330Ci Convertible must be a very rare thing (especially as a manual as the SE tends to be favoured by the more mature buyer) advertised this Auto Sport for a friend about 18mths ago and it sold in about 48hrs flat (it was advertised cira £300-£500 more than the silvers etc!)

I think your Spec is a tall order!

Yes, I have arrived at the same conclusion - an amount of luck and some patience will be required.

Looks brilliant though! smile
