Hi, has anyone used a courrier company to ship a hard top before and could give me a rough price for getting one from Scotland to Manchester? I've got my hard top up on ebay just now, and someone's asked would I be willing to ship it to Manchester for £50. I'm not sure if I could get it done for that, so wondered if anyone else had treid to ship one before.

cheers

You could ask if anyone is doing the journey in their 5 in the near future. I did this with my last one (coventry to sheffield) and it worked out perfectly smile

Nice idea about asking if someone is doing the trip, but don't want to say I'll def be able to get it transported if no ones going to do the trip. might just say that if they arrange a courier, I'll get it wrapped up safely. still a week to go, so they may not even win the auction

I have had owners lock it on to theirs on the way down before for a dead pig butty and beer tokens, and mx/Roadster chat, from Scotland to Manchester biggrin.
It is by far the safest way.
If it's someone who as bought it off you, then let them have the worry,it's not your problem.
Kind regards
