Recommend me a place to stay in Goa

Heading to Goa for NYE this year.

Need a place to stay for 3 nights, the 30th, 31st and 1st.

Planning on staying around Calangute, missus wants somewhere on/very close to the beach.

Ideally I would like a place with AC and a pool, all other mod cons surplus to requirements.

Needs to be somewhere that will be understanding of some late night/morning revelry.

Budget not really an issue at the moment, will consider most things having looked at prices on the net.

The only one I've stayed at is the Taj Exotica, about 20 miles south of Calangute but you won't find better.

We stayed at Whispering palms in Cadolim smaller town down the road from Calungute.
It would tick all the boxes you require.

First option will be too far out from Calangute, although I agree that the Taj chain is great, stayed at the one in Aagra when seeing the Taj Mahal.

Will look into the second.
