Thanks everybody, sorted out. Exhaust wasn't a problem after explaining that I was drawn in to think it made it supersonic just because I was excited and the no claims came off a referal from my wife's car as named driver. Business use, 10k, track days etc.. for under £800.

Very Happy.

What do you mean by 'modified'?
My exhaust was changed to a 'Sports exhaust' although i doubt for one moment that it gave me an extra 2 bhp!
Maybe you can elaborate a little more....

PS I transfered my NCB from my everyday car to my Cerbera policy no problem....

Hi. Welcome to cerbera ownership.

Some companies will 'match' your existing NCD, on another car. If they dont, why dont you swap the insurance around, and use the NCD for the cerbera...assuming this would cost more, and set a new one up for your other car. They should at least give you introductory discounton the new policy.

Below are a few threads regarding insurance/companies.

I forgot to ask that Paddy. I too thought the sports exhaust hardly made a difference.

John.

I think the seller may have been telling you porkies regarding the extra 40hp from the exhaust. However, its a good upgrade to have, and most owners have one put on. You'll love the pops and bangs. See how many car alarms it triggers off as well.

Thanks everyone, good advice.
Exhaust now not a problem.
Got the no claims on wifey's car to transfer across as I'm a named driver.
Up and running for 10,000 miles, business use, fully comp, etc.. for under £800, more than 50% less than where I started.
