Fantastic, beautiful car. The double five alloys are also particularly nice.
Initially I thought that you were stealing the car on video, which would have been considerate, but I now assume that its yours.
Have you had any issues with the 4.0 V8, or advice for anyone who has a hankering for a car similar to your one? On this site you frequently get people promoting the 4.2 over the 4.0. I have often wondered whether they were right or whether it is just OCD. Have you done anything else to it? Suspension?

Cardigankid - I found mine by hunting the PH Classifieds. i wanted a lighter colour and low mileage, so I just kept looking. Found it quite quickly at a dealers about 250 miles from my place !
Nothing wrong with the 4.0, as long as it runs smooth on idle and has had some use in the last few years. Nikasil would of been sorted earlier and high sulpher was phased out shortly after mine was made. The Tensioners are probably the 2nd Gen ones in mine as its a late 99 MY2000 car, so not too worried.
Just look at how many XKR's have over 100k on them without an issue.
The 4.2 is better, it has all the problems sorted from standard. But i wanted a low miler, so couldnt stretch to a 4.2 with low miles. Power wise, the 0-60 is the same on 4.0 & 4.2 so im not sure whether they made it heavier ?

XKR 4.2 1735kgs.
I haven't driven a XKR 4.2, but have driven a S Type R and X350 XJR where same 6sp ZF auto is also used and have to say the auto box is faster and smoother than the Merc 5sp unit.

Personally I prefer the 5sp gearbox,I did hear that it is stronger
Also 1st in the 6sp is lower, just not worth using and the 6th is some 10% higher than 5th in the 5sp
So I use all 5 in my 5sp in the 6sp I would only use the middle 4 of the 6 ratios
