Another car accessory that has died: little black plastic/rubber things with built-in reflectors that people stuck to the edges of their doors. Presumably to protect the door when the (invariably old) driver opened it up against a wall or another person's car.

My wife's car still has one of those - what REALLY bugs me is that even if you are listening to a CD or watching a DVD (in the back, obviously, not the driver) the aerial stays up.

Turn off the RDS AF/TA on the radio and it should go down - it's "listening" for traffic reports, etc.

Not necessarily fake, usually attached to some CB rig for mobile comms!!

Back screen stickers have died a death, usually advertising Alpine, Kenwood etc or the model/trim of the car XR2i, SRI etc!
