A red to lay away from the high street?

Is this possible?

I need to buy a single bottle of red, somethign to put away for round about 18 years.

Anythign like this that I can get my hands on from somewhere like oddbins or similar? or even Waitrose or other supermarket?

Or are there any decent wine merchants in Sheffield where I can get one from?

You will have to spend a decent amount of money to get a wine that will still be ok after 18 years.

You would probably be better buying a bottle of port if your planning on putting it away for tha lenght of time.
