E46 M43 1.9 8 valve, Head Gasket

I've been asked to fit the above, still need to check if it is the cause of the over heating, but seems likely.

Does anybody know what if any special tools are required for timing up and tensioning of the timing chain etc.

A link to a guide or workshop manual would be helpfull too ? ! ?

I 'THINK' A timing tool is required, I think it was £48 from sealey.
