Massive thunder storms over our way yesterday.

Got home, and can't get an aerial signal on any TV in the house on any channel...

Is it likely to have been FUBAR'd by the storm? Anything I can do to check before employing a professional to have a look at it?

Will it self-repair itself?

Is it still on the roof?

Have you paid your TV license? Maybe they've cut you off.

TV License - paid for.

Roof - intact

Aerial - still on roof

Me - in the right house!

Do you know if you have a mast head amplifier on the aerial?

Do you have some sort of distribution box to send the signal to multiple TVs?

Either of those could be the problem.

I don't think so as the aerial cable is run to an amplifier in my house which then sends two cables, one for each TV in the house.

Have you tried disconnecting the aerial cable from the amp and plugging it directly into a TV?

We enjoyed that too. Awesome rain! Satellite had a wobble but remained functioning all evening.
