Is it worth the hassle? Anyone tried it? What is involved?

Looking at stuff like this:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2019053.htm

Its a fair bit cheaper then in the UK.

I'm not sure on the purchasing from Ireland pros & cons. However, I am considering selling my Alpine White e92 M3 which is better spec'd than the vehicle in your link and has lower mileage. I would also be asking a lot less than £34k for my car! I have sold privately before on Pistonheads (Porsche 996 C4S to Steve996)

If you require any further info. please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Its Northern Ireland, so in theory you should be able to turn up, pays your money and drive it away. The dealership looks Kosher, though websites can be deceiving i guess.

Warrenpoint - just near Newry on border - it is in UK but that would be a political issue. They do deal in some nice metal.

just come over and buy - they might even take euro. your standard UK insurance is fine.
