This is where I'm a little concerned. I can't think of another car worth 7 figures where so many exist and it also has very little competition history. 272 of these built means that about 200 are probably still kicking about - it's never, ever been a vaguely cheap car so it should survive well. Many were bought for collections so most are extremely low mileage at any rate. Similarly F40s with a 1000 miles on do come up occasionally and they're only at half this level. I think the F40 will be the car to match the GTO, rather than the GTO heading up further.
It's a great car but too "common" to really hit the mega exotica tag. I'll take a more realistically priced one though and just enjoy driving the thing

not sure I agree that they're at a similar level of fame....and personally I'd rather be finding cashmere fluff than ginger pubes down the seat cracks!!I think a bigger reason Chris Evans wouldn't make as good a return is that he paints them all white!
