Virtual acceleration and top speed results

Richard D has kindly put my latest power figures in to the Cartest, and these were the results, headline figures are 210mph top whack, and a 10.7 standing qtr!
I'll have to see if i can actually do it, but in the past its been a fag paper out!

Spooky how the engine/transmission combination works out perfect for the strip, crossing the line still in 3rd. Plus 60 in first of course

Some Micky T rears could knock 0.2 -> 0.3 secs approx off that time too, but lets not think about the extra transmission strain

The top speed figure is using 0.34 as the drag coeff, but the Cerb is supposed to have a lower figure with its sleeker rear window.

Quite believable on the drag strip.
The 60 foot time shows 1.79 seconds which is commonplace for a very good road car. And dont forget Brummmies gearing allows 60 in first.

Show me a 2WD car on street tyres that can better 3 sec to 60...

Don't get me wrong - I've seen Brummie's car GO(!) but those figures seem a little optimistic given the Cerbera's (rather primative in todays terms) chassis.

I don't see any reason to doubt it's a 200+mph car.

Yes i agree that the suspension is now the achilles heel.
I do believe in a low 3 however. Its got the power no problem.
Grip should be fine from a pair of Mickey Ts (street legal).
The suspension would need to be tweeked to make the most from weight transfer etc

I never thought a FWD car could do 0-60 in less than 6 seconds after seeing modified Calibra Turbo engine (300bhp) in an Astra (80's so 1000kgs ish?) not manage this. But now big power FWD isn't rare and the cars handle it down mainly to big fat sticky modern tyres I'm guessing.

Heres the latest from our good friend Richard for my car.
It has to be said this is based on high grip levels, a true 300 bhp from the nitrous, a 3.08 diff etc
It seems unbelievable even to me but i also didnt believe the graphs Richard produced for me when i was trying to get into the 11's. He came up with a 'theoretical' 11.6 and guess what?!!!.
