Exhaust splattering black goop!?!

Hi all, I left the car (Chimaera 400, 1999) in the garage for two days (a long break for me) after a weekend of 500 miles. I started it today and just left it to warm a bit in the garage. When I pulled out I noticed two black streaks (wet) from the exhausts. I have often noticed it spitting after starting but it looked like a clear/water based solution and I put this down to being a by-product of the catalyst. This liquid today looked like blackened oil... is this normal or concerning? It was spitting some distance (even hitting the garage wall).

The car was driving fine after this and all readouts were normal. Oil is slightly over-full (about 1cm on the dip stick) but the oil is brown, not black like the stuff now on my garage floor.

Any ideas/thoughts/warnings/reassurances would be great.

Sounds like water mised with soot which is being blown out of a cold exahust. It'll stop once the exhaust system gets hot and the water therein boils off.

Yes, once again, all fine. I noticed mine doing this when I got them (2nd hand).... I guessed because I run nothing but v-power in it, and it's additional crap coming out of the engine?

But it might just be me jumping to useless conclusions!

Its a great game. Leave your car parked on the drive for 2 weeks . In my case this is at the bottom of a hill and cold damp air collects in front of the house. Ensure wifes car is parked at what she believes is a safe distance. Start up, blip throttle and ~2 litres of black water will travel an amazing distance and splat her car.

Mine does this too. One time i had unloaded everything out my boot to have a sort out and was checking the fans were cutting in ok as had a slight fault. Had car running and had revved it a couple of times. When i went to put stuff back in the boot it had black splatters all over it!

Another time i was parked in front of my friends Exige, later on he noticed 2 round splatter spots which matched my exhaust spacing perfectly!!

Trouser bottoms are usually victims when loading the boot up with the engine running,my girlfriend is still in a snot from 2 years ago due to her white trousers being in the right place at the wrong time !

Well, when I say white, it was originally white, its now black/grey,
