...sorry if this has been done to death but need some pointers. Have a full set of new SO2s fitted and have set to 22f 24r per handbook recommendations... previously was at 29fr and r as set by an indie who serviced car last. I just continued with his settings.
Been quite surprised at the change in feel (still not sure if I prefer it) and wonder whether there is an optimum setting? Compared to the (over?)high previous pressures, the car now seems to turn in very abruptly and feels like it's wallowing mid-corner... tramlining is less however although that may just be the new tyres. Any views or wisdom gratefully received.

I'd be interested too. My Chim came from the dealer with SO3s at the front running 30psi and SO2s at the back with 24psi. I've dropped the fronts to 22psi.

It depends on the car, how you drive, how much weight there is and so on. So yes there is an optimum but it will be different from anybody elses. Start at 22f 24R and vary it and see how it feels.
