Tuscan 2 - Instrument Pod

Hi Everyone,

I'm having a few problems with loose connections in the pod, occasional display blank, horn occasioanl sounding on corners. I assume loose wiring etc. Any guidance / tips on safely gettin into the pod to sort things out?

I remember a couple of years ago my lights suddenly cut out on the M25 on the way home with it getting pretty dark.

It ended up being a small connector on the side of the POD. Trouble is they dont always fit tight and snug enough. As my POD surround is glued to the POD am not keen on taking it apart unless I need to.

So to ensure it didn't happen again got a pack of small cable ties and fixed all connections on the sides nice an tight with these, and havnt had a problem since!

Thanks for that, I fixed the display blanking by poking my fingers in from behind the pod but a but hit/miss. When I get in to see it I'll strap everything down.

Martin, had a long saga with mine- binacle going blank, then crazing, then inconsistent brightness. Str8six sorted it by putting spacers between the circuit boards- been perfect ever since. May or may not help- just another experience.

Thanks, so far I think the cable just vibrated loose, I just prodded in the back to get it going again. It's not the best of designs, when I have the roof off I can't see the display at all! not that that stops me of course... I would like to change the dash to a 'Wavy' dash, but can't find anywhere to source the necessary parts.
